Where Has the I.I. Been?
This blog thread posted by the Irving Inquisition uses some explicit language, as well as depicting some aspects of life in North Minneapolis that some readers may find objectionable. Reader discretion is advised.
Where Has the I.I. Been?
Why working on home improvement projects, of course. Owning a hundred year old money pit means you’ve got to constantly be working on fixing the bloody thing up. Over the past couple weeks, this blogger set blogging aside in favor of working on the home front.
A blank wall right. Well, it's hiding 3 layers of wallpaper underneath.
Not to say that I don’t care about the Hoff vs. Moore trial and its verdict, or the crazy psychopaths on those blogs that are dedicated to bad mouthing JNS, NxNS, and on occasion myself. It’s just that sometimes there are more important things to take care of.
Work in progress...
Because let’s face it. Any reasonable person with any grasp of the law knows that the $60,000 verdict is going to get overturned. The irony in all of this is this; The Adventures of Johnny Northside blog has more influence than it ever had before. Why? With all the publicity, Hoff has become a household name. Friends and relatives from all over read about the trial and asked me, “Do you know about that blogger guy Johnny…” and I cut them off and say “Oh yeah, I know the guy personally. About time you guys started noticing North Minneapolis blogs.”
This is very messy work.
But alas, I’ve got three layers of wallpaper to remove to get to those plaster walls. And to me, that’s more important than frivolous lawsuits, destitute plaintiffs, their legal counsel, and their cheerleader blogger buddies.

The trial has indeed been a publicity godsend.
What is the point of taking off the old wallpaper? It looks in excellent condition (top picture)and helps hold old lath and plaster walls together.
Damn!! You're peeling off wallpaper that's been there since the Inquisiton!! Or since the last time you blogged. Welcome back from your priorities and the ongoing project of renovating and repairing ones home. Paying attention?!? I predict the whole North Minneapolis blog scene will be worked on as a segment for a prominent nationally syndicated program....brought to you by Nabisco since your rivals think you guys aren't nothing but a bunch of crackers anyhow. I perform five shows a week with two on Thursday. Good Day.
And we all know that Johnny Northside is only interested in the publicity. Getting his name in numerous papers was well worth the $60,000 judgment. It's just the cost of "fame".
Anonameass 10:55 believes that John is only interested in the publicity so i will guess that it is also his fault that people sue him,he gets a fucked up verdict from an obviously dubious bunch of (multi- ethnic?)individuals who, every morning, had to dig up their respective asses so they could pop their heads out to see the world through shit stained eyes. The cost of fame? I bet you guys run from your fans like all rock stars do..got more money than you can shake a stick at. Irv, John and Jeff...sounds like a bunch of Ernest T. Basses bandmates..rockstars...yea,,the world's most dangerous pots and pans band playing soon in a neighborhood near you. AHH..the price of fame! I forgot..you guys are doing it for the laudatory plaudits. You guys have done more in the moment that i realized any of you even existed than alot of folks have done their whole lives. There is NO stopping, this is not a fad; change is occuring and the derelict orating fakes will continue to get the hint that you guys are not going anywhere and they will slowly slink back into their respective turd shells. Good Day.
If you're sanding those walls wear a mask. They used to use asbestos as a binder in the plaster.
