Derrick Lowe is Building His Business
This blog thread posted by the Irving Inquisition uses some explicit language, as well as depicting some aspects of life in North Minneapolis that some readers may find objectionable. Reader discretion is advised.
Derrick Lowe is Building His Business
Derrick Lowe has been a subject on this blog before. He’s one of my neighbors, and is easily the hardest working man in the snow removal business. Derrick’s background has predominantly been in the property management industry.
| Local entrepreneur, Derrick Lowe. |
Years ago, Lowe was a maintenance / service employee for Pamiko Properties. He did essentially everything in the rental property fix-it business. During that time, Lowe was unaware of his employer’s gross financial mismanagement. Eventually he found himself out of work when slumlord, Paul Koenig’s empire collapsed faster than the 35W bridge.
Since then, Lowe picked up the pieces and has been working independently in the property maintenance business. Snow removal is one of those functions, and is how Derek’s name is spreading around. Indeed, I use Derrick’s company for my snow removal. When asked for his opinion on the snowy weather we’re experiencing, he said this… “I haven’t slept since midnight. Because whenever it snows I get excited.”
Lowe’s ambitions are to expand into the property renovation business. Seeing how there are ample properties in the area in need of renovation and the non-profits tasked with turning them around are either undercapitalized, mismanaged, or both; Lowe sees an opportunity for private enterprise to fill the void.
Stay tuned for future updates on Derrick Lowe’s business venture. If you would like to hire Mr. Lowe’s company for snow removal or any other general maintenance service, please e-mail irvinginquisition@gmail.com for contact information.

1) What kind of an dumbass makes fun of the 35W bridge collapse.
2) Just because you are a dumbass, I'm reporting Mr. Lowe as being unlicensed. You'd do better serving this world keeping your fat ass mouth shut.
@ Anon 10:43,
I will respond to your comments in the order you presented them.
1) I wouldn't know the answer to your comment/question. It should be a question with a "?" at the end and not a "." at the end. I wasn't making fun of the bridge collapse, I was referencing it metaphorically... My goodness you are truly, very, very stupid.
2) Ok, report Lowe as being unlicensed. And you would be accomplishing what exactly? I suspect nobody will listen to what you have to say... Why would you take the time to do that anyway, don't you have to work? Are you an unemployed blog troll? A blogger? Perhaps a slumlord?
I'm afraid you need many years of therapy... Many, many years of therapy.
Does he charge by the hour (time and material) or by the job. How do I get in touch with him??
@ Anon 10:59,
I suppose that would depend on the job. I don't know specifically. If you e-mail me: irvingiqnuisition@gmail.com I will give you Derrick's number. I don't want to post it on the blog for security reasons.
If there is a licensure requirement for snow removal that's news to me.
Derrick would do well to pick up the trade of ice dam removal and whatever finer carpentry/finish work would be necessary for interior repairs caused by ice dam leaks. He'd also do well to pass on a job that he may not have the fine finishing skills for, if that might be the case.
Let me get this straight...
He's an unlicensed snow shoveler?
Um, are licenses required to be a troll? Seems like the profession cries out for regulation, since it's putting out such low quality.
